So yes, everyone is starting to realize that there are no need to fill your tanks with live rock, wild coral colonies,all types of bad bacteria,wrong genes of hitch-hikers, death of all types that once thrived in our wild reef and the list goes on… That said, we research different types of base rock to be seeded and watch the growth filling it.
Why CACO3REEF rock
There are few types of dry rock out in the market. Now its time to get picky and choose what we like for a base in our tanks.
We look for dry base rocks that is very porous,contains different shapes, easier to stack, not been pulled out from the wild and dried out just so the distributors make money and not worry about the extra costs of live rocks. It has to be calcium base aragonite and of course last but not least the price that plays a big role as we all enjoy the savings to be spent later on other fulfillment for our saltwater tanks.We don’t need lava, tufa, or other heavier by weight and metals base rocks.
